Carlisle “wins over” Skeptical Maine Builder

Glen Ranager, veteran Wide Plank Specialist shared a great story with us today from a skeptical builder in Maine.  Glen worked with the builder and his customer in 2011 to design a Wide Plank Eastern White Pine floor.  This was a floor that the homeowner was very interested in for his Maine lake house.  The character, widths, and overall look were a perfect fit!

The builder admitted that he did not want anything to do with “pine” or anything “wide”.  At first, this was discouraging, but in the end the customers desires prevailed.  He installed 13-20″ Wide Plank Eastern White Pine flooring in his home.

Nearly a year later the builder called Glen and was ready to order another 2,000 square feet for a new project and he wanted to use the same exact floor!

Given his skepticism just a year ago, Glen was curious about why he wanted to us the flooring again.

The builder said “after working with our Eastern White Pine flooring, seeing the quality of the wood, the quality of the milling, the ease of the install and amazement that there was NO sanding required, he completely sees why the extra money is worth it”.

The original homeowner shared his home and his floors with the builder new client, and not only did he get a new contract but the Wide Plank Eastern White PIne floors installed in the home sold the job!

If you are looking for Eastern White Pine flooring for your home, give us a call and we can outline what makes our Eastern White Pine and all our floors so unique.
