Have a look at some really terrific photos of a new Carlisle floor in a cabin in New Mexico. You’re looking at Old Growth Heart Pine, prefinished, without stain.
The customer recently sent the photographs with this note to our Sales and Design Consultant Shanon Sterrett:
“We got moved in over the holidays — everything is wonderful! These are pictures from our New Mexico Cabin. The floor is awesome!”

“We are happy with the products,” writes a customer who purchased an Eastern White Pine floor with Hit or Miss distressing, one of several hand-made surfaces created by the craftsmen in our Custom Shop. The floor is finished with our Gingerbread stain and Tung Oil. It’s a great fit for a family cabin in Hill City, Minnesota!
Thanks to Carlisle Sales and Design Consultant Shanon Sterrett for forwarding these photos, and of course to the customers for sending them along. We love it when you are happy!

At Carlisle, we offer a great number of historic stains and finishes and our experienced sales and design reps can help you find just the look you want, no matter what type of floor you choose. That includes mixing and matching stains. Here’s a photo of a great example sent along by a recent customer. He ordered original grade Old Growth Heart Pine in 7- to 11-inch face widths and finished it on site with a custom stain made of three parts Bradford Umber and one part Autumn Leaf.
We think it’s a great look! Many thanks to Glen Ranagan of our Stoddard, N.H., headquarters, for sending along this photo.

Thanks to Carlisle Sales and Design Consultant Shanon Sterrett for sending along a link to photos of the clubhouse at The Concession Golf Club, a private course in Bradenton, Florida. The clubhouse, designed by Adrienne Vittadini and Pamela Hughes, features Carlisle floors — and, with casual and formal dining, card rooms, a golf shop, and locker rooms for men and women, it stands at the social center of life at The Concession.
We’re delighted that The Concession’s members stand on our beautiful, quality Carlisle floors!

Thanks to Dan O’Neill of our Los Angeles Showroom for sending along these photos taken a year and a half after Carlisle Walnut floors were installed in this home in Canada. The developer wrote of the floor: “It has gone a totally luscious warm brown and the variations make it very vibrant.”
We have to agree! Walnut is noted for its rich, dark color, its intricate swirling patterns, and its purplish overtones. Carlisle’s Walnut flooring is particularly dynamic because it is sustainably harvested in Ohio and Kentucky, which offer ideal growing conditions for producing planks with exceptional length, width, and heartwood content.
