Last week we shared with you some photographs of hardwood and pine wide plank floors installed in bedrooms. Because there are so many possibilities, and so many looks you can achieve from wood floors, we’re offering up more examples of how our customers have used Carlisle floors in their boudoirs. Hope you enjoy these pictures of bedrooms from around the country — California, Colorado, Massachusetts, Maine, and Vermont.

The tree that produces maple syrup makes great-looking floors, too! We offer wide-plank Maple flooring in both White Maple and Brown Maple, which are different cuts taken from the same tree.
White Maple, with clear flowing grains and occasional swirls, is a great choice for those seeking a clean look in both traditional and contemporary settings. Thanks to Brian Graham of our Chicago Design Center for sending along this photo of a White Maple floor recently installed in Elmhurst, Illinois. The customers, who visited the Chicago showroom, purchased 1,100 square feet of premium White Maple in 6-inch face widths, finished with a traditional clear topcoat.
Ozark Hardwood Flooring of Park Ridge, Illinois, installed the floor.
“I think this is a great look for people,” says Brian Graham.
The customer agreed, writing “The floors are in and look great! Thanks for everything.”

A wide plank pine floor installed near water on a concrete base? No problem! With radiant heat? Absolutely. Many thanks to Adam Whitney of our Washington D.C. showroom for sending along these terrific photos of a Carlisle floor installed in a new addition. As you’ll see, the Eastern White Pine floor, in face widths of 9 to 16 inches, was finished with our Bradford Umber stain and Tung Oil. As Adam notes, “it is installed on the water over radiant heat set into concrete w/ sleepers and then plywood on top.” Antique cut nails finish the look.
The first four photographs show the interior from several angles; the fifth gives a look at the exterior addition, and the final picture is taken of the neighboring river from the addition’s roof deck. Great stuff!
