• Looking for luxury living in east Tennesse Mountains?

  We love it when we stumble upon houses for sale where the seller/real estate agent has noted the Carlisle floors as a selling point! Here’s one described as “luxury living in East Tennesse Mountains”. When you see the photos, we’re sure you won’t disagree. The Sevierville house is just $1.75 million.

  Here’s what the ad says about us:

  The Carlisle wide plank pine floors are laid in random width to contrast with the hand hewn scribed logs that take your eyes up the 18 feet of open space to the tongue and grooved stained spruce ceilings over the log trusses.

• Carlisle was a hit on The Avenue in L. A.

  A few weeks back we told you how we are West Coast design studio in Los Angeles was going to participate in The Avenues Art and Design Walk on the weekend of March 26 and 27. It was an event designed to draw attention to the neighborhood that is full of top design firms, upscale interior and other retails shops and high-end homes. Carlisle’s Dan O’Neill led our participation all the way. The event chairman, Darren Gold, wrote to tell us he felt Carlisle’s participation was key to its success. Dan has this to say about the event: “We had many people coming and going all day. People sat outside and enjoyed the live music of Jon Howard on the porch of the showroom. Even the Hollywood Tour Bus stopped in for pictures and a few songs. All in all, it was a beautiful day in the neighborhood, and Carlisle’s corner location and shady tree were an ideal spot to kick off spring in West Hollywood.”

• Near Chicago April 16-18? Find Carlisle floors at the Bath and Industry Show

  Be inspired. Carlisle floors will be all set up for showing at the upcoming Bath and Industry Show, being held April 16 through 18 at the McCormick Place in Chicago. We’ll be displaying plenty of samples of our floors, including ones like this Walnut floor, below. Show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Sunday.   Two of New England’s premiers craftsmen have joined with other local businesses to create a truly gourmet Earth Day celebration. Earthfest. Featuring a whole weekend’s worth of the freshest all natural foods prepared by the finest local chefs. Join us for entertaining cooking demonstrations and delicious food and drink.

• Near West Hollywood? Find Carlisle at the Art & Design Walk March 26 and 27

  Our west coast design center will be taking part in the celebration of the 25th anniversary of West Hollywood this coming weekend, March 26 and 27, so if you’re in that neighborhood, stop on by. Our showroom is in the same neighborhood with some of the top design firms and upscale home and interior retail shops, all of which will be opening their doors for this weekend walk, with special events and refreshments at many of them.
