Beth Bromage and her husband write to us about the installation of our Wide Plank Eastern White Pine flooring, a floor they designed with Wide Plank Specialist Lynne Rafuse almost 4 years ago. Although these were the floors of her dreams, she admits that it took some convincing of her husband to accept it, after all this floor is known for its softness, even the installer was a bit skeptical. So much so that about three years after he installed the floor he knocked on the door to see if they were still “holding up”.
I’d say they “held up” got even better with time wtih age. This floor now almost 4 years old gave Beth “another layer of character” to her home, and just the look she wanted.

Here at Carlisle we work with a majority of clients who are choosing to redesign their homes rather than build new ones but with the desire of making spaces better and more functional. Kitchens have become one of the most important rooms in a home, so alot of emphasis is placed on how they work and look. Many times clients think they need all new cabinets or appliances or big additions to make their home better. But as this Cheyenne, Wyoming home shows us that is not the case.
That is why we are inspired by this project and bring you 10 Ways to Redesign your Kitchen Space (addition not necessary).
