Jimmy Fallon’s 30 Rock Office Now Features a Beautiful Carlisle Hickory Floor

When comedian Jimmy Fallon puts his foot down, it lands on hickory; or, more specifically, on the 315-square-foot Carlisle Hickory floor that was installed in his private office at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

The GE building at 30 Rockefeller houses the New York City headquarters of NBC, including the studio of “Late Night with Jimmy Fallon,” which airs weeknights at 11:35 p.m. Fallon, a six-year veteran of “Saturday Night Live,” was named to follow in the footsteps of David Letterman and Conan O’Brien, starting in March 2009.

Fallon’s office floor features 5/8-inch thick country grade Hickory in 7-inch widths and lengths ranging from 3 to 12 feet. The floorboards have a tongue and groove eased edge with stress reliefs, and were prefinished with Gingerbread Stain and custom coating.

An art director on the show who coordinated the project with Carlisle sent us a very appreciative comment card:

“It was an absolute pleasure to work with your company on our project. The flooring is absolutely stunning and your staff members were such a dream. They answered all of our questions, sent us detailed information to guide us through the install, and kept me updated on the status of our order without me asking. All around, the experience with your company was just great. Thank you so much – would love to be able to work together again!!!”
