As things get cool and colorful outside your home, you’ve probably added some décor to your front porch, and ring in this splendid time of year.

Pumpkins, mums, wreaths, and scarecrows are just a few of the fun accents you can use. It is a great way to give your home some curb appeal and welcome guests — especially trick-or-treaters — coming in just a few short weeks. If you can access a local farm stand take advantage of the end of corn season and pick up some corn stalks for your porch.

Whether you have a sprawling country estate, or a quiet flat in the city, even adding a colorful fall wreath to your front door is a nod to the season. Your local farmers market is also sure to have gourds in all shapes and sizes. Fall Colors

Every season brings with it a palette of colors, and fall is no exception, and in some cases, it is one of the most beautiful times of the year. This color palette from Behr shows you the beautiful rainbow of hues inspired by the season.

Fall is a time of year where it gets a little darker, a little earlier, so you may find you are spending a little more time indoors. Is it time to paint that accent wall or repaint a bedroom to begin a redecoration project.
