The Forest Stewardship Council likes how Carlisle does business
Wood is a natural, renewable resource and can be recycled or renewed at the end of its lifecyle. But not all wood floors are created equally. The Forest Stewardship Council certifies hardwoods that are considered ecologically responsible, and Carlisle has received two different certifications from this group. We received the 100 percent Antique Reclaimed Certification and the Chain of Custody Certification. This means that every single Carlisle board is a genuine antique and has been in our care from the dismantling process to the moment it is resold. As such, it qualifies for LEED credits.
