2012 Best Blogger Nominee Mentions Carlisle Floors In a Recent Post

Todd Vendituoli of Todd Vendutioli Construction, and 2012 Best Blogger of the Year for the Construction Industry, gave a nice mention to Carlisle Wide Plank Floors in a recent blog post.

We can tell he has been doing his homework about our floors!  "Did you know that when most mills make 5000 quare feet of flooring PER HOUR we do about 350 square feet PER HOUR!"  It is not because of our machines, our molders could run about 10 times faster than they actually do, but we made the decision to deliver the best milled product in the industry by milling each board slowly, one at a time, one floor at a time.

Thanks Todd for the great blog post and for sharing the word about Carlisle floors.

We know our floors are beautiful, although we have been accused of being biased.  But when we hear direct from our customers, we know its true!  Just like from this happy customer in Michigan, who ordered our Wide Plank Watermill Hickory flooring.

"The most floor ever! Hope to do the rest of the house! Thanks for evening!  P.S. We will doing a small room soon! Will be ordering more Hickory."

We've heard back on their small room and now they are working with Wide Plank Specialist Lynne Rafse to do another room!

It is not very often you get exactly what you are expecting with a product but we heard from a happy customer who had just such an experience when he worked with Wide Plank Specialist, Lynne Rafuse, to order All 10" Wide Red Oak planks for his home. To save him time we hand-finished the floors prior to shipping.

He writes:

"I liked what I saw on the internet and I loved the sample Lynne sent to me! The actual floor installed is gorgeous and makes the whole project work well!

Carlisle “wins over” Skeptical Maine Builder

Wondering why Carlisle Pine floors appeal to homeowners and profesionals over other suppliers? Well here's a great story to fill you in.

Glen Ranager, veteran Carlisle Wide Plank Specialist, shared a great story with us today from a skeptical builder in Maine who worked with a Carlisle customer about a year ago.  At the time, the builder had discouraged his customer from Pine, but also from the wider planks.

Being from Maine, the proclaimed Eastern White Pine state, he has long had issues with the qaulity of the White pine flooring available to him.  The flooring he got locally was never dried right, it was milled poorly or he had stability problems.  All of these can lead to big problems with installation, finish, and performance.

But thanks to a determined Boston homeowner who just had to have Wide Plank Eastern White Pine floors in his Maine lake house, we won him over and he called us back to get more flooring!
