We meticulously recreate the look of natural "footworn" surfaces that only a hundred years of living could yield.
Hundreds of years ago, craftsmen used imprecise methods to determine the thickness of each board. Planks were also laid directly onto the floor joists. As a result, there were significant variations in the way the edges of the floorboards abutted each other. Over time, the handdrawn texturing of the boards and uneven edges and ends were gently worn and smoothed as generations lived and walked on them.

Using today's technology, but working with each individual board by hand, we meticulously recreate the look of natural "footworn" surfaces that only a hundred years of living could yield.
