How We Deliver

Your floor will typically be delivered via common carrier. If you think there might be any difficulty with this, please let us know and we’ll be happy to make other trucking arrangements to deliver your floor. Your floor will be dead-packed, wrapped in moisture protective material and secured with steel bands to ensure damage-free delivery.

Large flooring orders of 4,000 square feet or more will be delivered on a flatbed. These trucks are 65 feet long, so again, we will want to discuss the accessibility of your location to accommodate this type of delivery vehicle.

For more than 40 years, we have delivered Carlisle floors all over the world. If your project is located outside of the contiguous 48 states, we will make all the arrangements for your shipment to any destination, and work with you to provide any paperwork necessary for international shippments.

Scheduling Your Delivery

When you place an order you will be partnered with a Client Partner who will work with you to schedule the right time for your floors to ship.  We will call a week in advance of your scheduled shipping date so that you and your builder know when your floor is leaving our building. Then, you will have at least 24 hours notice prior to shipping, from the shipping company, who will schedule a delivery appointment and approximate arrival time frame.  For those clients that need delivery on a specific date and/or time, just ask and we can make it happen.

At the time your order is placed, we will send you or your builder/installer a very detailed instruction sheet outlining everything you will need in order to plan for delivery.  Having multiple people on hand to unload, clean gloves, tin snips, and adequate space at the project to store the wood, will ensure the delivery goes as smooth as possible.  If you will be unloading the wood by forklift, on site, just let us know.
