At Carlisle, we’re proud to be North America’s leading supplier of reclaimed woods . But we’re even more proud to be nationally recognized for the methods we use to responsibly recycle this finite resource.

The Forest Stewardship Council has set down hard and fast rules that strictly govern the way in which antique wood is reclaimed, reprocessed and resold. Carlisle is honored to have achieved full FSC certification: FSC Chain of Custody for 100% Post-Consumer Reclaimed Antique Wood.

You, the customer, are the last link in this chain. You become the final custodian of a certified piece of history. To help our customers fully appreciate this, each of our reclaimed floors comes with a commemorative personalized folio that tells the complete history of the wood: where it was procured, the species it represents and the building from which it came.
