Antique Nails & Finishing Touches
Antique cut nails
Before tongue and groove boards were developed, floors were simply face nailed, with nail heads left exposed. For those who want to replicate this rustic look, the Carlisle Custom Shop offers three choices of reproduction antique nails: cut, straight cut and rose head. Each is faithful to the original in appearance but is designed with greater holding power.
