FSC Antique Reclaimed Wood Floors

Reclaimed wood flooring is a relative newcomer to the flooring market. Only recently have home builders and renovators come to fully appreciate its historic merit and unique beauty. This has meant that entire industries have sprung up in order to meet the growing demand for reclaimed building materials, especially reclaimed antique wood.

But it’s important to realize that not all reclaimed wood is procured, processed and resold in the same manner. Carlisle has worked to achieve 100% Post Consumer Antique Reclaimed Certification from the Forest Stewardship Council. This means that every single LEED credit qualifying Carlisle board is a genuine antique and has been in our care from the dismantling process to the moment it is resold.

By embracing these and other strict guidelines, Carlisle has become the most requested supplier of Reclaimed wood in North America. When you walk on a Carlisle FSC Antique Reclaimed floor, you can almost feel the spirit of the past resonate beneath your feet. It is a rich, warm comfort that only time, and more time, can create.
