For the expertise, the quality and the truly authentic look that your home deserves.
Once sought after by early New Englanders for their farmhouses, Red Pine, or "Hard Pine," wide plank flooring is prized today because it recreates the same look and feel of yesterday's country homes. Cut from large old growth timbers throughout northern New England, Red Pine, typically not as wide as Old Growth Eastern White Pine, is a New England original characterized by its heartwood, which develops a deep cherry patina with age. Red Pine floors are also well known for their remarkable hardness and durability.
Premium Grade New England Red Pine
Drawn from large old growth timber throughout northern New England, this beautiful Pine flooring was commonly used for floors in traditional homes. Due to selective cutting, Carlisle can now offer this rare and beautiful floor.
This flooring is available from 6" to 12" wide, 6' to 16' lengths, 1/2", 5/8" or 3/4" (our preferred thickness is 3/4") thick.
Try staining your New England Red Pine floor with a warm brown finish to enhance its natural red hues, making it a truly handsome floor.
Our New England Red Pine Flooring is available in Tongue and Groove, Shiplap or Square Edge.
