A little convincing…and a beautiful Wide Plank White Pine Floor

The gentleman that we hired to put them down in 2008, knocked on our door several months ago.  He was curious as to how they looked.  He had been very skeptical putting down a pine floor with your suggestion of finish. He felt they needed a heavy coat of some type of shellac finish. He followed your directions and used your product but did it begrudgingly. He was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful they still look 3 years later.  I think he was a little disappointed.  He probably thought he’d be back refinishing them sooner rather than much later.

It took me a long time to convince my husband to put down pine. He had all the same concerns about the softness of the wood.  This is one item I wouldn’t give in on.  He is also happy with the way they look.  It wasn’t long before he relaxed about each new ding or scratch. My answer was always “it’s another layer of character”.  Now he finally understands.”
