Why Choose Carlisle Wide Plank Floors?

What You Live on Should Represent Who You Are

Every Carlisle wide plank floor is a masterpiece that’s truly an expression of you. A floor that reflects your sense of style and beauty, and is crafted specifically for you with unmatched pride, passion and purpose. It’s a defining feature in your home and a welcome reminder of where you are, each and every time you walk through the door. It’s a floor and an experience like no other — uniquely you, and unmistakably Carlisle.

For over 50 years, Carlisle Wide Plank Floors has handcrafted the finest wood floors in America – each one reflecting the natural beauty of the highest quality raw materials available.

We take great pride in our time-honored processes, from sourcing the soundest and most reliable timber grown in America’s forests to embracing a level of craftsmanship equally at home with traditional rustic themes or with fashion-forward style.

We believe that every detail of every floor matters – whether it’s just the right shade of gray or the nuance of a hand-scraped edge, we collaborate with each client to define a personalized, custom-made floor. And while that floor may be selected from our extensive, curated Collections or be uniquely designed to match a specific vision, it will be realized in the same way: one plank at a time.

Crafting Custom Floors For Every Customer

How We Measure Our Customer Service

At Carlisle we understand that our customers are our best insight into how we are performing and what we can do to improve our process, products, and service.

To achieve this, we send our clients a simple survey asking them to rate how likely they would be to recommend Carlisle to a friend. These responses get built into our rolling Net Promoter Score that measures our client’s overall experience working with us. Sometimes we get really lucky and someone takes the time to tell us a bit more about why they gave us a rating.

This invaluable feedback is reviewed in meetings with all departments in order to incorporate feedback and improvements. Our customers are truly integral to our business, and therefore, we want them to feel heard and know that we value them.

The “Net Promoter Score” is a customer satisfaction benchmark that measures how likely your customers are to refer others to your business. It measures the client’s overall sentiment about the brand (not a single interaction or purchase).

Any NPS score above 0 is “good”. It means that your audience is more loyal than not. Anything above 20 is considered “favorable”…..above 50 is excellent, and above 80 is world-class.

How the person responds to the survey will categorize them as:

  • 0-6: Detractors (unhappy)
  • 7-8: Passives (indifferent)
  • 9-10: Promoters (enthusiastic, loyal)
