Customizing your Oak Chevron flooring
Selecting a pattern like Chevron is just one of the many ways you can customize your Oak floor at Carlisle.
A choice of Oak floorboards
We offer several types of Oak Chevron flooring. Our White Oak Chevron flooring features floorboards with tight, nutty brown hues and dramatic grain features that range from simple and sleek lines to intricate swirls. Our Red Oak floors are harvested from timber with tight, consistent grain and deep salmon tones in the heartwood. And our Rift & Quartersawn White Oak floorboards are produced with a special cutting technique that results in straight parallel lines that run the length of the plank with vibrant ray flecks radiating across each board.
Selecting the grade
We offer several proprietary grades that allow you to choose floorboards with more knots, mineral streaks and color variations or planks with a more consistent and formal feel – or something in between.
Our craftsmen are experts at texturing techniques that give a new Chevron pattern hardwood floor the appearance of a surface that has been lived on for hundreds of years.
Deciding on structure
We offer Oak floors fashioned from both solid and engineered floorboards. Solid Oak floorboards are made from a single piece of Oak, while engineered floorboards use a thick veneer of Oak that is glued to multiple layers of backing material. This construction provides more stability in environments with higher levels of moisture, humidity and temperature changes. Engineered floors are ideal for installation below grade, on concrete slab or over radiant heat.
A wide selection of stains
