Wide plank wood flooring offers dramatic beauty.
Wide plank wood flooring provides a simple way to infuse any space with greater elegance and beauty. Carlisle Wide Plank Floors, one of North America’s leading purveyors of wide plank floors, offers flooring with some of the widest and longest boards in the industry. The wider the boards, the fewer seams there are in the floor, giving the room a noticeably cleaner and more spacious appearance. Wider planks also mean more of the distinctive grain and history of the wood can be seen in each board, giving your wood flooring more character and personality.
New England-based Carlisle Wide Plank Floors has been producing wood flooring of remarkable quality and longevity since 1966. Today, Carlisle manufactures and installs new and reclaimed wood floor products for homes and businesses throughout the world.

Carlisle’s wood flooring is hand-picked from sustainable forests.
At Carlisle, we balance our enthusiasm for quality wood flooring with a commitment to environmental sustainability so future generations can enjoy the forests of this great land. We take great pains to ensure that our beautiful floors cause no harm to our forests. We have selected a small group of timber growers who share our standards, guaranteeing that no forests are ever clear-cut for our wood planks.
Lumber used for our wide plank wood flooring comes from the most mature trees in the forest. These are trees that have reached their peak and must be removed for the regeneration of the forest. These majestic specimens, wider in circumference than less mature trees, allow us to cut wider and longer planks. And because we only harvest trees from northern regions where cooler summers result in slower growth and tighter grain, our floors are unusually durable as well as extraordinarily beautiful.
New wood floors and antique flooring.
You’ll find a wide variety of new and reclaimed wood flooring at Carlisle. Our new floors come in a variety of woods – oak, walnut, cherry and maple among others – and can be installed as unfinished or prefinished wood flooring.
Our antique floor products are also available in a variety of woods, including oak, walnut and heart pine, salvaged from old homes, barns, and warehouses in the northern United States. These timbers are cleaned, inspected and lightly milled to preserve all the nail holes, saw kerfs, and imperfections in the wood that give these floors their remarkable character.
We also offer distressed wood flooring, new wood flooring that is treated to resemble an antique floor, and engineered wood flooring that is among the highest quality in the industry.
