Not all snow is white and not all character in wood comes from knots, ingrown bark or mineral steaking. When snow is blown into drifts subtle color changes appear as the light hits a myriad of surfaces. Wood can be the same. This Hickory floor with a medium white stain mellows the color contrast typically seen in Hickory and allows the light to reveal the exquisite variation of tone that will make you keep looking at the floor. The brushed texture creates a variety of layers in the white tone and the overall effect is a floor with character and interest that is at home in a modern interior. If you want natural but don’t want country consider this floor.
